Fresh Corn Chowder with Green Chili


3 cups fresh cut corn kernels
4 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 cups chopped green chilies
2 onions thinly sliced
4 medium potatoes peeled, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
2 cups cream
2 cups chicken stock

You can puree two cups of corn in the blender if com is mature. If sweet and tender, use as is. Sauté onions in margarine, stir in the corn, potatoes and stock, and bring to a boil. Simmer, until potatoes are soft. Add the chilies and cream; salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer to desired thickness.
