1/3 cup Sake (rice wine)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tablespoon ground ginger
1 clove of garlic, finely minced
1/4 lemon, thinly sliced
1 pound lean beef shell or club steak
Combine Sake, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic and lemon slices. Stir
until sugar is dissolved. Cut steak into thin strips; add to marinade.
Marinate for 15 minutes or longer. Drain. Cook briefly in hot skillet.
