Dutch Apple Pie
Graham Cracker Crust:
1/4 cup margarine/butter melted in pie pan.
Add 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs and 2 tablespoons sugar.
Mix and mold into pie pan.
(A regular crust may also be used)
Filling:
5 1/2 cups sliced cooking apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Topping
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup margarine/butter softened
Preheat oven at 375°. Make pie crust until light brown, about 5
minutes. Remove crust from oven. Combine all filling ingredients. Mix
and spoon into crust. Mix topping and sprinkle over filling - covering
all. Bake until brown and bubbling - 50 minutes.
