Coconut Pie


1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups milk. Cook until thick like pudding. Add 3 egg yolks. Remove from heat and add:

1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tsbp. butter

Cool and add 1/2 can coconut. Put in cooled pie shell, top with egg whites and coconut and brown.
