Cherry Pudding

1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1/ 2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 sticks margarine
1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
Use 9x 13 inch cake pan. Add can of pineapple as first layer. Add other ingredients in order given (margarine cut in slices - place evenly over top layer). Bake in moderate oven - until slightly brown and bubbly. Serve warm or cool. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. For variety other pie filling may be used.
