Brownies 2
1/3 c. butter or oleo
1/2 c. coco
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. nuts (optional)
Melt margarine over low heat and add the cocoa, stirring well. Cool
and beat in two eggs one at a time until well blended. Add sugar
and corn syrup. Sift
baking powder with flour and mix in, add vanilla and nuts. Pour into 8 inch
square pan. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Cut into 2 inch squares. Makes 16.
(Do Not over bake)
