Mexican Corn Bread 3


1 1/2 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 can corn (cream style)
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
Onion, chopped
Grated cheese
1 lb. ground meat

Mix ingredients together to make corn bread with cream corn too. Pour half the mixture into a hot greased iron skillet. Then add layer of 1 pound ground meat browned and drained. Layer of onion, layer of grated cheese, then pour the rest of the corn bread mixture on top. Bake 1 hour at 400 degrees
