Cheese Chilies Cornbread


2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup melted butter, cooled
1 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon each salt and baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup grated Monterey Jack Cheese
1 cup canned cream style com
1/2 cup minced scallion (about 4)
1 4-ounce can chopped green chilies

Heat oven to 400• Whisk together eggs, yogurt and butter in a medium bowl. Add dry ingredients and mix well until just well blended. Add remaining ingredients, mix well, pour into greased lO-inch heavy skilled and bake 40 minutes.
