Pineapple Apricot Salad

12 oz. can pineapple chunks
17 oz can apricot halves

Drain juice and save. Bring to boil 1 cup juice and 1 cup water. Dissolve 1 large box apricot Jell-O and add:

2 c. cold water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Place in refrigerator until set, add pineapple and apricots.

1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. marshmallows

Chill until firm. Mix and cook until thick

1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. reserved juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 beaten egg

When cool add small carton Cool Whip and spread over Jell-0 mixture.
