Bruschetta


1 loaf French bread (sliced lengthwise, and cut into manageable pieces)
2 cups diced tomatoes (3-4 medium)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
1 garlic clove, peeled and minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

Preheat oven to 325 on broil element. Mix above ingredients (except bread) in a small bowl. Place the mixed ingredients on the bread and place in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Bread edges should be lightly browned.
