Angel on Horseback

A very old English dish, known by other names in other countries. Works well even when prepared in a toaster oven. A must for lovers of oysters.

Sliced Bacon
Oysters (the jar variety is fine)
Tabasco sauce (green or red)
Broiler or baking sheet

Clean individual oysters and remove shell fragments, wrap in a single slice of bacon, with the loose end down to prevent the bacon from unraveling. Place on baking sheet, and broil until the bacon is crisp. Remove and place dash of Tabasco sauce on each piece, and serve.
